Just got done with MCM Expo and damn, it was amazing! This is just a recap and propably won't be that interesting to most, but me, I like having it written down xp

First of all I got a visit from one of my very best friends, ~Hanowara which in itself would make a great weekend even without the expo. We spent friday fooling arround London, doing some last minute fabric shopping, spending all our money at forbidden planet and walking thrrough covent garden and the south bank, where we made a number of pigeons very jealous with our belgian waffles with whipped cream, chocolate and strawberries of awesomeness!

Didn't have any cosplays planned for friday, but Hanowara had brought both Sugar and Zacharie from OFF to wear different days, so I got too borrow Zach. Gotta admit I'd never even heard of the game, but the costume looked cool and was very comfortable, so it was lots of fun. Spent most of that day walking around, taking advantage of the relatively low amount of people to get to see everything that was around.

Saturday I finally got to use my new Hunter cosplay from *Sio64 's amazing webcomic Crankrats! Damn that was warm, with fur all over and a mask, I think I nearly boiled in the sunshine. Even so, it was fun. I think I'm the first to ever cosplay from it, and it was so very well appreciated, which made it incredibly fun to wear! Got some very nice pics at photo stand there which are now scanned and will be up shortly!

Then, later on, we met up with *Valdrein for food at Chiquito, which is quickly becoming my fave restaurant here. I'm just glad I got to see her again for a while before she goes back to Canada, and despite beeing both starved and tired as hell by this point it was a very nice time. And of course, who the fuck is smart enough to go to bed right? Nah, lets stay up and watch the Emperor's New Grove instead! I have this insane wish to cosplay Kuzco now xp

Finally Sunday, and it seemed the con went by way to quickly! Got my Rogue cosplay again after washing it 6 times to get rid of the chocolate stain from last expo xp This is actually becoming one of my fave costumes to wear, even though I don't really like the wig or the makeup. It's just so simple, comfortable and actually a bit empowering. And people seem to enjoy the childhood memories xp

Got to have an amazing photoshoot with ~TheForgottenTale who by the way got a heap of great pics from ecxpo, check oput her facebookpage! [link] Anyways, just looking through the photos and there are some absolutely amazing ones there, I can't wait to get them online!

There was a huge Marvel meetup, with a couple of x-men, some Avengers, a nimber of Spidermen and a frigging horde of Deadpools xp it was so much fun though, just messing around doing all sorts of crap and getting pictures. Someone even brought speakers and played all the theme music, which felt fucking fantastic tbh.

Then, we went to the Merlin panel. I initially felt a bit down cause had i known a bit earlier I would have brought my Merlin cosplay. Even so, the guys were frigging hilarious and the whole thing was just really great, so it's fine, I just feel lucky to have been there. And by the size and sound of the crowd, I'll quote the host "what the heck were the BBC thinking?"

The con finished far too quickly, so instead of going home we decided to just chill in the sun for some time with some other Norwegian folks who i don't think have a DA. We wen't for chinese and then back to their hotel room to just hang out some more. Oh, how I hate that the tube stops running so early!

And that's about it really. Now to get packing, moving back home for the summer in two days!
